Show Birthday Observance Will Feature "Lena Rivers" Drama Already plans are under way for the celebration of Parowan's 111th birthday which will be on Jan. 13. The xlay's observance will be under the direction of the Paulina and Elizabeth camps of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Pio-neers, with a full day of events to be scheduled. Preparations which are under way at this time Is for a play to be presented on the evening of that day, according to Mrs. Max Hendrickson, who has an-ready an-ready announced that the play will be "Lena Rivers", and that the cast has been selected for the presentation. Mrs. Hendrickson Hendrick-son will direct the play. The story of the play deals with the plight of young Lena Rivers and her beloved Granny Nichols who are compelled to leave their New England home and seek refuge with Granny's son John. John has changed his family name of Nichols to Livingstone Liv-ingstone because of the social aspirations of his domineering wife, Matilda. The denouncement ment at the end of the play Is startling Indeed. Lena Rivers has become one of the greatest comedies in years. It does not star Just one person. Each member of the cash has an opportunity for acting honors.
