Show Joyce Bryant and children spent the school vacation in Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nev., where they were guests at the home of Mrs. Bryant's Bry-ant's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hart. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Wood have enjoyed having their daughter Ada and son-in-law, Fred Hooper Hoop-er staying with them this past week. Fred's parents from Anna-bella, Anna-bella, Utah, have also been visit-, visit-, ing at the Wood's residence. A special week end trip was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs: Stanley Shakespeare and family of Cedar City, who took advantage of a pre-spring vacation to travel. The Shakespeares motored first to Salt Lake City where Mr. Shakespeare Shake-speare attended, teachers' meetings. meet-ings. On Sunday they visited in St. George where they greeted Mrs. Shakespeare's twin brothers who just returned from the mission mis-sion field. The Elders, Derrill and Dale Larkin, sons of Mrs. Montrue Larkin, fulfilled LDS missions in Mexico and Central America. Making a trip to Salt Lake City last week were Mr. and Mrs. Al Jenson. The Jensons were gone from their Cedar City home for several days enjoying a business and pleasure excursion. Tuesday Mrs. Dee Cowan and daughter Cathy returned from a seven day visit in Salt Lake Ciiy with Senator and Mrs. C. R. Hunter. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fillerup and family spent a portion of last week visiting in Salt Lake City and in Ogdcn with the Walter Stevensons. Using the school vacation as an opportunity to travel Mr. and Mrs. Robert Skinner and their family motored to Salt Lake City. While there they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Dover, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Osborne of Bland-ing, Bland-ing, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Hirschl and family of Clearfield and with Robert's father and brother, broth-er, Ralph Skinner and Jimmy. They also spent time visiting with friends Mr. and Mrs. Mel Ballard. Mrs. BaltaM Is the for-' for-' mer LaRae Stapley of Cedar City. |
