Show Planning Commission Names Frances Betenson Chairman The Cedar City Planning Commission Com-mission has been reorganized as the result of the resignation of Clifton L. Chatterley, who was serving as chairman. 'Mr. Chatterley was elected chairman of the commission effective ef-fective January 1, 1963, but has registered at Brlgham Young University at Provo, and because of his absence from the city submitted sub-mitted his resignation from the commission to Mayor Kumen S. Gardner. His resignation was accepted by the City Council at its meeting meet-ing of March 7, and Clarence E. Miller, former Iron County Commission, Com-mission, was named to succeed him on the planning board. At a meeting of the Planning Comlsslon Monday night, Frances Fran-ces Betensen, cashier of the First Security Bank, who had been serving as vice president with Mr. Chatterley, was elected chairman chair-man to succeed Chatterley. Charles Rasmussen was elected vice president to fill the vacancy caused by Betensen's election.
