Show Coordinating Unit Discusses Eeautif .'cation. John Rowley presented his ar-I ar-I chitectural drawing of the park t pavilion which the Lions Club i will build on the park south of i the swimming pool this summer. It will cost upwards of $3500 in i cash with the club members do- Ing the construction work under supervision of skilled tradesmen, r Work will be started In April, i according to Mr. Rowley. Richard Rowley reported that a city-wide clean-up week will be held from April 15 to April 21, and asked the cooperation of all agencle in making -Ms a thorough thor-ough operation. Other committee reporting was the Health and Sanitation Com-mitee Com-mitee under the direction of Dr. Wesley Larson, chairman. Dr. Larson stated that the Medical Sell-Help program has been the first project under his leadership. Two classes have been held in Cedar City for adults and four held at the high school. They have been well received and as-a as-a result, many people are now trained to assume the leadership of other classes Dr. Larson asked the representatives represen-tatives of organized groups to Interest In-terest their organizations in such a program. He stated that the information in-formation is valuable In any disaster di-saster and Invited anyone to contact con-tact the committee for further information. Glen Anderson, chairman of the Art Exhibit Committee, announced an-nounced that the 23rd annual exhibit will be held April 14 to- April 2a A very-fine exhibit 1ft-I 1ft-I planned. |
