Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Dee Milcken Bp. and Mrs. Theron Ashcroft came to Enoch last Tuesday evening eve-ning and visited our Mutual Study class in MIA. They showed show-ed slides and told about their trip through Church History country. The evening proved to be very interesting and was very much enjoyed by all those In attendance. Our thanks go to the leaders of this class for making mak-ing it so outstanding. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Webster and children made a trip to Salt Lake City over the week end. On Saturday Mr. Webster attended the special UEA session that was called for all teachers of the state. Mrs. Renee Vandenberghe and children Sydney and Terry Ann are here visiting Mrs. Vanden- berghe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wllkcn and four of their children left last Thursday morning to spend a few days In Salt Lake City and Clearfield. While in Clearfield they visited Mr. Wilken's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Q. Wilcken and two of Mr. Wil-cken's Wil-cken's sisters. They also visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery H. Wilcox, Mrs. Wilcken's parents and with several of Mrs. I Wilcken's brothers and their fa-1 milles. On Saturday, March 16, Mr. Wilcken attended the special session of the Utah Education Association held in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Veda Mathoson accompanied accom-panied Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wilcken Wil-cken on their trip to Salt Lake City last Thursday. She returned home Friday with her husband, LaMar, who had Just been released re-leased from the Vetorart's Hospi-tal. Hospi-tal. Elder Haken Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Haken Anderson of Cedar City, attended church in Enoch on Sunday. He has just recently returned from a mission , for the IXS church. Ho left for his mission at about the same time as some of the Enoch boys and since he paled around with them he seems to belong to us. We're glad to have him back and hope to hear from him soon. Glen Garfield went to Salt Lake City over the week end to attend the UEA session that was held on Saturday. While working at the High School on Monday, Ray Jones fell and broke his nose. Mr. Jones Is a brother to J. Stanford Jones and is living in Enoch. |
