Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Last week Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lawrence greeted their daughter, Phyllis Biederman and her daughter to their home. Phyllis Phyl-lis was visiting here from Nevada. Neva-da. Mrs. Lawrence reports that she just returned from a two-week two-week stay with another daughter, daugh-ter, Lila (Mrs. Lynn Prestwich) in Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Prestwich have a new baby girl (DeAnne) born February 23. A one day visit was enjoyed byMr. and Mrs. C. M. Browning by Mr. and Mrs. Loius Webster who traveled to Las Vegas, Nev. The couples spent the day taking care of business matters and enjoying current shows. Seven days of visiting was completed Saturday for Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ward and youngsters. young-sters. The Cedar City family attended at-tended the wedding of Mrs. Ward's sister, Vernis Nelson, who was married to Rex Taylor in Richfield Saturday. After visiting visit-ing several days In Richfield, the Wards traveled to Salt Lake City and Brigham City. In Brig-ham Brig-ham they were guests at the home of Bob's sister and husband, hus-band, Mr. and Mrs. Don Tait Accompanying the couple on excursions ex-cursions was their son Bradley. A short vacation was enjoyed by Mrs. Harry Knell and her son Kelly who spent several days in Page, Ariz., with Mr. Knell. Four days visiting In Moab was the highlight of the spring vacation for Donna Reed and children. The Reeds were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Medder. Miss Barbara Tomslc, a Utah State University student, visited here with friends over the week end. She accompanied her mother mo-ther to Cedar City for the purpose pur-pose of participating in the Bowling Bowl-ing Tournament. Miss Tomsic comes from Helper, Utah. While in Cedar City they visited Craig's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wiliam Jones. Tuesday, March 19, the ladies pinochle group met at the home of Mrs. Jay Perry to enjoy an evening of card playing. On hand for the session were special guests Artis Watson and Connie Nelson. Mrs. Jim Judd of Provo Is visiting vis-iting in Cedar City at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Eyre. A guest at the Verdell Knight residence last week was Miss De Anna Smith of St. George. Miss Smith spent three days with Sandra San-dra Knight arid also visited the Ivan Davies family of Kanarra-ville. |
