OCR Text	Show DIXIE BIRTHDAY CLUB Friday, March 14th the mem-Urs mem-Urs of the Dixie Birthday Club enjoyed a social occasion to-; to-; gether. The purpose was to hon- or Alice Haight on her birthday 1 anniversary. A delicious hot din-ner din-ner was served. Following the dinner the ladies enjoyed play- in Canasta. Winning high score prize was Ilea Wakeling, conso-; conso-; lation prize going to Mable Dal-' Dal-' ley. Scene for the birthday party 1 was the home of Herbert Haight with Iva Ruth serving as hulcss. Co-hosiesses assisting were Florence Flo-rence Higbee and Lillian Williams. Wil-liams. Those enjoying the party were Alice Haight, Mable Dalley, Dal-ley, Pearl Rogers, Gladys Naegle, Nellie Hopkins and Rea Wake-ling.
