Show KANARRAVILLE Tioneer Day was celebrated here with serenading by the Ka-narraville Ka-narraville String Band, a parade at '.:30 a. m. and a town meeting; at 10 o'clock. The theme of the program was the pioneers entering enter-ing the Promised Valley. Michael Williams portraed 1 r i g h a rn Young, Alice Pollock was chosen as "Queen of "17" and Susie Leader "Queen cf 1!."3". During; the afternoon children's sports were held which was followed by a children's dance in the early ear-ly evening. At 9 p. m. a water' melon bust "on the meadow" was held anil enjoed by all who attended. Lester Ford of l!eno. New, visited vis-ited here over the -'Ith week end. with his mother Marie Ford. Mr. and Mrs. F.laine Prisby, Alice Floto and Klden Tame of Midvale. Utah and Mrs. Zin.i Prisby of Washington. Utah, visited vis-ited here a few days with Mr. land Mis. Willard Williams and family. Mrs. Janes Greenau of New-hall, New-hall, Calif spent a few days here with her daughter. Mrs.' Krin Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Claxloii Williams of Washington spent a few d,i s here. Logan ami Mrs. Venice Prime and son Mor-v Mor-v n of New Harmony. Miss Bonnie Birch of Price is here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Fife ami family of Cedar City spent a few-days few-days with Mrs. Fife's mother, Mrs. Hannah Davis. They returned re-turned to their home Sunday. Otto Reeves of Cedar City spent July 21 here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Peeves. Mr. and Mrs. Oiov Heap and children of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Heap and Miss Mama Heap of Pa rowan were dinner guests Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Peeve Chidister and son of Salt Lake City visited visit-ed here with Mrs. Chidiste'r's parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Piatt. They were accompanied here by Miss Phyllis Piatt, who had spent a month in Salt Lake City with her sisters. Mrs. Rosent Blake of St. George was 2 visitor here with her son-in-law and daughter. Rowen Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Jean Brooks spent a few 'days visiting in Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Williams and children Annette and Johnny of Annabelle, Utah, visited here with Roscoe's mother, Mrs. Mary M. Williams. Visitors here from Las Vegas were Mr. and Mrs. George Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Lalif Wood. George A. Berry returned home after a few days visit in Salt Lake City with his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred New-berger. New-berger.
