Show Construction Started On Deluxe New Service Station Construction work started Wednesday Wed-nesday on a new $35,000 modern service station on South Main in Cedar City. The new deluxe station is being be-ing built by the General Petroleum Petrol-eum Corporation and will provide pro-vide complete Mobil oil service. A. J. Crawford, district sales representative rep-resentative of the petroleum company, com-pany, states that the new station sta-tion will be one of the finest in the state, and that his company com-pany is very pleased to be able to again offer service in Cedar City. The new station will be located on o diagonal plot of ground on the south side of Highway 91. and immediately southwest of the Cedar Crest lodge. The Cedar City planning commission recently re-cently approved a change in the zoning ordinance providing for the location of the service station at this point. The plot is 230 feet by approximately 150 feet. Contractor fot the construction of the new station is John Riley of Beaver, who announcces that the station shoul i be completed in from GO to 75 days. M Crawford reports that it is expected that the station will be operated by Keith Higbee and Orwin Green, both of Cedar City. |
