During the past week's play only one game pitted the mines teams against each other. Iron Mountain Moun-tain staved in a choice spot just one-half game behind Columbia. Other games of the week pitted pit-ted mines teams against town sponsored teams and the results were drastic. El Rey Cafe took it on the chin again this week losing to Desert Mound and to Columbia ,by scores of 16 to 3 and 14 to 2 respectively. Iron Mountain dumped Parowan 14 to 3 while Utah Construction Wednesday night dumped Bradshaw Brad-shaw 18 to 4, with Bradshaw's scoring their four runs in the seventh inning.
