Show ffichfieldMeet Planned By Rainmakers' The second annual meeting of Southern Utah Water Resources Development Corporation (Rainmakers) (Rain-makers) to be held in Richfield, Wednesday, March 11, at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m., will feature a report by Dr. Irving P. Krick, world renowned re-nowned meteorologist, and Milton Mil-ton Sachs, hydraulic engineer of the Bonneville Power Administration. Adminis-tration. Mr. Sachs, who headed the "rainmaking" experiment of the Bonneille Dam Watershed, will report on a $50,000 evaluation project conducted by the United States Weather Bureau, the United Unit-ed States Bonneville Power Ad-1 ministration, and Water Re-1 sources Development Corporation during 1951-1952. Also featured on the day's program will be Dr. Krick, who will present an operation report for tht 1952-53 program and highlights on the progress ol weather modification science. The meetings will start promptly promp-tly at 10 a. m. in the Sevier stake tabernacle Wednesday, Marcn 11 with Dr. Krick as the first speaker. Following Dr. Krick will be a progress report on the University of Utah evaluation project by Dr. J. Vern Hales and Thomas Hoffer, consultant meteorologist. me-teorologist. In the afternoon at 1:30 the second session of the convention conven-tion will continue with a report by Milton Sachs on the Bonneville Bonne-ville lower Administration project, pro-ject, and a report by James Hor-rigan, Hor-rigan, president of the oldest rainmaking project in the United States. Following Mr. Horrigan will be a presentation by Dr. Krick of new developments in the weather weath-er modification science. All citizens of southern Utah are invited to attend the two sessions and are assured an excellent ex-cellent program with new information infor-mation on weather modification.
