To complete the organization an administrative board of five members will be selected, and a "player agent" to act as arbitrator arbitra-tor of team organization will be appointed. Following this local business firms will be asked to submit bids for furnishing uniforms and equipment for the four teams. As soon as weather conditions permit practice will begin, and after the boys have had a chance to work out for a month, teams will be organized and a schedule of games will be drawn up. Emphasis Em-phasis will be placed on competition com-petition within the league, and no team will be allowed to travel to other towns for exhibition games. There may be one exception ex-ception to this. If the players develop sufficiently an all-star team may be selected to compete in a regional play-off, but no other travel will take place. Arrangements are also being made to organize a Pony League for the boys 13 and 11 years of age. It will be organized on the same basis as the little league with business and industrial fums sponsoring the teams. |
