Show Chamber Membership Drive Gets Direct Mail Start The annual membership campaign cam-paign of the Cedar City Chanfber of Commerce is under way, with all past members, and many prospective pro-spective members, both individuals individ-uals and business firms, being contacted by mail. Appeals to the individuals and firms to support the chamber activities through membership have been mailed, with the request re-quest that the dues be paid as soon as possible. In order that the chamber of commerce may continue the work of promoting trade, industry, indus-try, travel and general improvement improve-ment in the city, financial support sup-port must be provided through the payment of membership dues, and because of this an extensive ex-tensive membership campaign is planned. After members have had time to respond to the mail request to participate in the program, personal contacts will be made wherever necessary, Arnold Anderson, president of the Chamber of Commerce for 1953, states that the board welcomes wel-comes questions, criticism or suggestions, and points out that the organization is doing everything every-thing within its power to promote pro-mote the general economy of the community. r - - -i |
