Show fill-Stake Day Plans Announced by Cedar Relief Societies Plans for an all-stake day to help raise funds for the planned Cedar Stake ami ward chapel, are being made by Relief Societies Socie-ties of the Cedar stake. The stake and ward Relief Society organizations or-ganizations are planning to observe ob-serve their annual day Friday, March 20. The annual day is usually us-ually observed in the Relief Society So-ciety organization on or close to March 17, the date of its founding. found-ing. In order to accommodate more people the day has been set for the 20th. according to Af-to'n Af-to'n P. Parry, Stake Relief Society president. Funds will be raised for the building through a bazaar in which all wards will participate. Each f the 10 wards of the stake will have separate booths from which they will sell all types of bazaar articles. A country coun-try store is also being planned so that produce from farms, special spe-cial articles, and types of goods found in the old-type country store may be purchased. The bazaar will be open in the aternoon and during the early ear-ly evening. A pageant will be presented by the Relief Society following the bazaar. Each ward of the stake will participate in the pageant which has been written writ-ten by members of the Relief Society. It will feature many types of entertainment, and is to be given free of charge. Committees have been set up In each ward of the stake to handle and plan for specific phases of the activity. |
