Show County Draft Board Sends Three Men for March Quota Three Iron County nu'n will report for induction into military .ervice next Wednesday, March 11, and two others have been granted postponement of induction. induc-tion. The five men will fill the Selective Sen-ice quota from Iron county fr the month of March. Two of the men have volunteered volun-teered for induction at this time. Lloyd A. Mortenson of Parowan, one of the volunteers for induction, induc-tion, will leave Cedar City with Jimmy Jones of Cedar City on Wednesday. Gerald Eugene Laird of Cedar City, another volunteer, vol-unteer, has transferred to a northern Utah board and will report re-port with the men from Juab county, it is understood. The other two men, who have been granted postponements are Ronald Udell Green and Charles Peterson of Cedar City. Green is attending school and will report for induction at the end of the spring term. Peterson, who is employed at the iron mines has been granted a postponement of 30 days to allow his company to fnd a replacement for him. Three men will also report on Wednesday for pre-induction physical examinations, according to E. B. Dalley, clerk of the Selective Se-lective Service Board. The three men ordered to report are Del-mar Del-mar S. Gurr, of Parowan, and ' Dwaine D. Johnson and Frank- lin Benn of Cedar City. |
