Show Red Cross Campaign Gets Started; Two Towns Over Quota Loran Hirschl, Iron County Red Cross Fund Campaign chairman, announces that the response to the solicitation for membership and funds with which to carry on the work of this great organization organ-ization has been very generous to date. The campaign opened Monday morning, and the success suc-cess to date indicates that the county quota will be reached again this year, Mr. Hirschi states. Already two towns, Parowan and Enoch, have passed their quota. Stewart Murie, Enoch chairman, reported Tuesday that he had collected 60 more than the quota set for that community. commu-nity. Homer Adams, Parowan chairman, states that the campaign cam-paign there is continuing but that already the quota has been reached. Final, reports have not yet been made, but indications arc that the response seems to be good in all sections of the county-Mr. Hirschi states that if any individual who wishes to contribute con-tribute is not contacted by some committee worker, it would be appreciated if such individuals would contact any campaign worker by phone. |
