Show Bonnie Laura Higbee Becomes September Bride Miss Bonnie Laura Higbee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Higbee of Cedar City, exchanged marriage vows with Lewis Frederick Fred-erick Lepper of Ft. Wayne, Ind., last Friday evening at El Esca-lante Esca-lante hotel. A double-ring affair the ceremony cere-mony was performed by Bishop Parson U. Webster of the Cedar First Ward. Both bride and groom are students stu-dents at the I'tah State Agricul-tuial Agricul-tuial College at Logan and following fol-lowing a honeymoon trip to Fort Wayne the young couple will return re-turn to the USAC campus to continue con-tinue their academic studies. Mr. Lepper is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lepper of Ft. Wayne. At the wedding as well as the reception which followed, Jim Slack of Fort Wayne acted in the capacity of best man. Maid of honor for the nuptial occasion was Miss Margaret Green. Bride's Maids, assisting throughout the evening were Miss Norma Edwards, Ed-wards, Miss Peggy Jensen and Miss Shirley Stewart. Assisting in the gift room were Mrs. Paul Blackburn and Mrs. Jack Jensen with Mrs. Gene Rollins, Rol-lins, Miss Diana Smith and Miss Mary Jensen serving at the reception. re-ception. The new Mrs. Lepper is a graduate grad-uate of the Cedar City High school and has completed one year at the USAC. Mr. Lepper, a student at the Agricultural College, Col-lege, is a member of the campus R. O. T. C. and is affiliated with the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. |
