Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NOTES ; Mrs. Cora Murie i Mrs. Grace Smith of Bour.tLf'.J spent a few days here and inj Cedar City. Her daughter Anna accompanied her on her return for a few days visit. Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Christensen has been vacationing for three weeks. Two weeks was spent visiting in South Dakota with relatives, and one week visiting visit-ing in Ogden. Ronnie Grimshaw spent a week in Salt Lake City with Bud Gar-; Gar-; field who is working there. ! Mrs. Sarah Matheson of Enoch and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Maxwell and son Douglas of Cedar Cits spent the week end visiting with Frank Matheson in Firth. Idaho. They also visited with the Bernard Ber-nard Matheson family at Layton. j and Mrs Alice Halterman and Mrs. Clara Smith of Denver is visiting with her daughter and 1 family, the George D. Grim-shaws. Grim-shaws. Mrs. Ray Baldwin and three children of Las Vegas are spending spend-ing a week or two with the Roland Ro-land Anderson famiJy. Four 4-H Clubs from Enoch participated in the summer camp ! at Duck Ovek last week end. j Everyone reported having a won-I won-I derful time. Cora Lee Gibson of the Country Cousins club was j elected mayor of the camp. Sev-J Sev-J eral other club members worked ! on committees. On Friday night ! after the campfire program a wiener roast and melon bust wasj held at the camp of the Fancy j Burner club in honor of Garth Jones on his birthday. Some of the young people from home joined in the fun. j Mr. and Mrs. Evan Matheson and two daughters made a trip to Layton for the christening of, their granddaughter, the little, baby of Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Matheson. Following this they journeed to Firth. Idaho to visit Evan's brother, Frank, and family. fam-ily. Millard HaltermAn spent two days in Salt Lake City visiting with his son Richard and family. Mrs. Alice Halterman and children chil-dren of American Fork arrived here Wednesday to visit with the Matheson and Halterman families. |
