Show Victim of Fire Home From Hospital In Improved Condition Jon Chesley Williams, 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams, has returned home from the Iron County hospital where he was confined for several sev-eral days after being badly burned about the face and head with gas. Jon Chesley and a companion, Joe Gubler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Gubler, were trying to make an atomic explosion. They were throwing gas on a fire when Chtsley's clothes caught fire. The lad had presence of mind to poll on the driveway, but it was packed pack-ed too hard to extinguish the fire. Mrs. Garth Pollock saw him from her window and ran to the child's aid, calling her husband. Garth grabbed the boy and put out the fire by throwing a rug over him, which was on the porch. Chesley suffered second and third degree burns about his face and head and also on one hand. His condition is greatly Improved, proved. Much credit Is due Mr. and Mrs. Pollock for the wonderful job they did In coming to the aid of the boy. |
