Show 1 1 En Avantes Enioy Entertainina Proaram A meeting of the En Avante s Club was held recently when I Mi? Bea Roberts entertained the ; group at Hotel El Escalante. Spe-: Spe-: cial guests present were Miss 1 Robert's sister, Mrs. Elva Steele ! of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ruth Urie, Mrs. Ann Leavitt and Miss Mary McMillan. Mrs. Shirley i Marchant was program chairman I for the clay and she asked Mrs. I Leavitt to read the play "Tea 1 House of the August Moon" by John Patrick. This play was winner win-ner of the 1954 Pulitzer prize and is now on Broadway. Thursday night the club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Fern Amend. Fifteen member were present to enjoy the book review Mrs. Hazel Nelson gave-"The gave-"The Ides of March" by Thornton Thorn-ton Wilder, a fiction story based on historical facts occurring about 45 B.C. Light refreshments followed. |
