Show Junior High School Tentative Graduation List Released; Closing Program Plans Announced A tentative graduation list of over 100 students o! the Cedar City Junior High School was released re-leased early this week by principal prin-cipal L. C. Miles. In addition the closing program of the school was announced. It will be held Friday, May 20 at the public school auditorium at 8 p. m. and the public is cordially invited to attend. The program was announced as follows: Prelude "Andante Cantabile," by Beethoven played by the junior jun-ior high school orchestra under the direction of Roy L. Halver-sen. Halver-sen. Greeting, 1955 student body president, Haken Anderson. Mixed Chorus will sing "Grand March from Alda," by Verdi. Invocation will be by Deana Dotson, 1954 student body president. presi-dent. Two chorus numbers by the junior high school mixed chorus, directed by Wallace Adams include in-clude "Sing Along," and "Rocka My Soul." Announcer will be Gary Mathe-son. Mathe-son. A tap duet by Linda Knell and Gail Crawford entitled "Wedding of the Painted Doll" will be given giv-en followed by an Instrumental duet, "Valse Renow' by Jennie Gay Hall and David Randall, accompanied ac-companied by Joy Crosby. A reading, "At the Soda Fountain" Foun-tain" by Beverly Kruger will be presented followed by an imitation imita-tion by Susan Adams and Clyde Porter, entitled "You'll Never Get Away." A quartet composed of Judy Lunt, Pat Brunson, Sue Ellen El-len Bulloch and Bonnie Bulloch will sing "Now Is the Hour." A skit entitled "Nature Hike" will be given including the following fol-lowing students: Baibara Jean Bauer, John Bauer, Leo Larson, Bonnie Brinkerhoff, Larry Adams, Boyd Dover, Marlene Benson and Mack Rider. Students Mary Ellen Edmunds, Travis Nelson, Jimmy Thorley, LaRue Bladen and Hank Seagle will present a panel discussion of "School Learning." A piano solo entitled en-titled "Polonaise" by Chopin will : be played by Neil Petty, and ; Carol Lou Munford will sing "You'll Never Walk Alone." Wallace Osborne, Instructor, will present the graduating class ' members with their school year- books and Principal Lorin C. Miles will give remarks. Final number will be a solo by Kenneth Ken-neth McKnight, "Something Greater Than I." Benediction will be by Boyd Smith.
