Show College of Southern Utah Alumni To Choose New Association Officers Nominations for candidates to the council of the College of Southern Utah Alumni Association Associa-tion have been announced by Willard Jones, president. Five members will be elected at the Annual CSU Alumni Banquet Ban-quet and Dance to be held on Thursday, May 2G. The banquet will be held at the El Escalante Hotel and it will be followed by a graduation dance at the CSU 'Ballroom. Time for the annual: event wiil be 7:30 p.m. Five members of the Alumni Association must be elected at the banquet to serve for a period per-iod of three years. Ten candi dates have been elected including: includ-ing: Marian Hahne, Clair Morris, Christine Winterrose, Thelma Jones, Blanche Houchen, Florence Higbee, Clemont Adams, Bernella Jones, Ralph Perkins and John C. Brown. Master of ceremonies at the banquet will be Leland Perry, construction engineer at the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University, and a former resident of Cedar City. Principal speaker will be Dr. Ira N. Ilayward, head of the department de-partment of languate arts at the Utah State Agriculture College. Col-lege. Graduates, both associate and bachelor of science, from the school will be in attendance and will be welcomed Into the Alumni Alum-ni Association at the banquet. In addition to activities for regular alumus of CSU, Parley Dalley has called a meeting in advance for the members of the 50 year alumni club. They will meet Wednesday afternoon for a tour of the CSU campus and a program and luncheon has been arranged for Wednesday evening. Dalley extended a cordial Invitation Invi-tation for all eligible members, those who graduated In the class of 1905 and before, to attend and participate in the 50 year club activities.
