Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Notice is hereby given that the Newcastle Reservoir Company, Inc., Newcastle, Utah, has filed the following change applications applica-tions with the State Engineer to change the point of diversion, pjace and nature of use of 10,966.79 ac. ft. of water to be used for irrigation purposes in Iron and Washington Counties', State of Utah. All locations from SLB&M. a-3020 . 6500 ac. ft., evidenced by Application No. 19599, Escal-ante Escal-ante Vajley Proposed Determination Determina-tion Water Users Claim No. 1179 The water was to have been diverted di-verted from Pinto Creek at a point S. 600 ft. and W. 2310 ft. from the NE Cor. Sec. 27, T3CS, R15W. The water was to have been stored from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 and used during the period Mar. 1 to Nov. 1 to irrigate 6800 acres in Sees. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 T36S, R15W; Sees. 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, T35S, R15W; Sec. 13, T36S, R16W. Hereafter, 6,500 ac. ft. of water wa-ter will be stored from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 in the Pinto Creek (Newcastle) (New-castle) Reservoir; released and used during the period Mar. 1 to Nov. 1, as hereinafter described. a-3021 . 4 sec. ft., evidenced by a diligence right and Proposed Determination Water Users Claim No. 219. Sec.' 29, T38S, R14W, and N. 85'15'E. 4085 ft. from WK Cor. said Sec. 29 and conveyed via Transmountain Diversion into in-to Pinto Creek, conveyed thereby and rediverted therefrom and used during entire year as a sup-plemental sup-plemental supply to irrigate 2410 acres in Sees'. 22, 27, 33, 34, T35S, R15W; Sees. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 18, T3GS, R15W. Hereafter, 2608.11 ac. ft. will be diverted at a maximum rate of 30 sec. ft. from Grass Valley Creek at a point S 4180'W. 205 ft. from WVi cor. Sec. 31, T38S, R14W, and conveyed via Trans-mountain Trans-mountain Diversion into Pinto Creek and stored In the Pinto Creek (Newcastle) Reservoir during dur-ing the period Jan. 1 to Dec. 31; released and used during the period Mar. 1 to Nov. 1, as hereinafter here-inafter described. a-3031 10 sec. ft, evidenced by Certificate of Appropriation No. 2124, Award No. 21 (e), Greenwood Decree dated Nov. 10, 1919. The water has been diverted divert-ed from Water Canyon In Washington Wash-ington County at a point N. 26 OO'E. 11,550 ft. from SV Cor. Sec. 14, T39S, R15W, conveyed by Transmountain Diversion into Pinto Creek and used as a supplemental sup-plemental supply to Irrigate 4609 acres in Sees. 22, 27, 28, 31, 33 and 34, T35S, R15W; Sees. 32, 33, T35S, R16W; Sees. 3. 5, 6, 7, 8, 18, 19, 22, 30, T36S, R15W; Sees. 5, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 24, 27, 28, T36S, "R16W. Hereafter, 2608.11 ac. ft. will be diverted at a maximum rate of 10 sec. ft. from Water Canyon at the same point as listed above and conveyed via Transmountain Diversion into Pinto Creek, where it will be stored in the Pinto Creek (Newcastle) Reservoir during dur-ing the period Mar. 1 to Oct. 1; released and used during the period Mar. 1 to Oct. 1, as hereinafter here-inafter described. a- 3032 15 sec. ft, as evidenced evidenc-ed by Certificate of Appropriation Appropria-tion No. 2125. The water has been diverted from an Unnamed Wash, trib. to Ash Creek in Washington Washing-ton County at a point S. 72' 15' E. 21,890 ft. from SVi Cor. Sec. 29, T38S, R14W, and conveyed via Transmountain Diversion into Pinto Creek, where it has been used as a suppjemental supply to irrigate 4G09 acres in Sees. 22, 27, 28, 31, 33, 34, T35S, R15W; Sees. 32, 33, T35S, R16W,; Sees. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 18, 19, 22, 30, T36S, R15W; Sees. 5, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 24, 27, 28, T36S, R16W. Hereafter, 3500 ac. ft. will be diverted at a maximum rate of 15 sec. ft. from Ash Creek at the same point as listed above, and conveyed via Transmountain Diversion Di-version into Pinto Creek, where it will be stored In the Pinto Creek (Newcastle) Reservoir from Mar. 1 to Sept. 1; released and used during the period Mar. 1 to Sept. 1, as hereinafter described. Hereafter, it is proposed to store 6,500 ac. ft. during the entire year under Change Application No. a-3020 and a total of 4.4G6.79 ac. ft. during the periods specified speci-fied in each change application, Nos. a-3021 to a-3032, inclusive, making a grand total of 10,966.79 ac. ft. The water will be stored by multiple storage In a reservoir reser-voir created by a dam to be constructed con-structed to a height of 87.3 ft. across the naturaj channel of Pinto Creek, the center of which bears N. 5710 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 27, T36S, R15W. The reservoir will have a capacity of 3,326.5 ac. ft. and will inundate 162 acres in Sees. 22, 26, 27, T36S, R15W. The water so stored will be released during the respective periods described in each change application into the natural channel of Pinto Creek and conveyed con-veyed thereby a distance of 4.000 ft. where it will be rediverted Into the following existing canals at the fallowing points': Eastside Canal S. 1828 ft. and W. 1059 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 21, T36S. R15W; ..Diagonal.. Ditch S. 1292 ft. and W. 1332 ft; and S. 2490 ft. and W. 1032 ft. from NE Cor. said Sec. 21; Newcastle Town Pip Line . S. 458 ft and W. 215 ft. from Cor. said Sec. 21. The water so rediverted will be used during the periods described in each change application to irrigate 6,800 acres is Sees. 3, 4, 5, 6. 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 30, T36S, R15W; Sees. 5, 13. 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 24, 27 and 28, T36S. R16W; Sees. 22, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, T35S, R15W. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applications, applica-tions, with reasons therefor must be in affidavit form with extra copy and filed with the State Engineer, 403 State Capitol.
