Show Last Rites Conducted For John H.Melling Funeral services were cwkI-. Tied Ti-ed Friday afternoon in tPie Sq-si; Fifth Ward chapel for John rr-bert rr-bert Melling, who died cn Oct. 19 of a heart ailment. He suffered an attack two weeks ear.l- fcut was thought to be recovering when he suffered anolier attack at-tack on Oct. 18 and succ umbed. Bishop Homer Jones raided at the funeral services ;nd the prelude and postlude organ music was furnished by Cc'.'e M. Jones. Prayer at the mortuary was by Ned Walker and the i jv nation at the services was ftiven by William B. Adams. Speakers included Harry U. Lunt, Lehl M. Jones and remarkn by Bishop Jones. A quartet composed of Pny Cosslet, Wilma Lunt, Lois McConnell Mc-Connell and Wm. C. MacFarJi-, rendered two numbers, "Ikwt-iful "Ikwt-iful Land," and "My Fat'ier Knows." A vocal solo was render br Cosslett, "One Sweetly SoJt-m Thought." AJ1 musical num.- were accompanied by Mrs. Jor"s- Benedlctlon was by WaMi'i Isom and the dedicatory pr ' nr at the Cedar City cemetery by Jim Heywood.
