Show HighSchoolPrepares" For Annual City Government Rule The Parowan High School and - Parowan City officials are making mak-ing arrangements for the high school to take over the city government gov-ernment for certain periods over the coming week end, it is announced an-nounced by Principal Max Dalley of the high school. This sort of an arrangements has held sway at Halloween time in recent years in order to curb Halloween pranks and vandalism by put- ting the young people in charge of themselves, and Mr. Dalley states that the arrangement has worked out very welj. Under the program Connell Mitchell, student body president will act as mayor, Rose Ann Barton, Bar-ton, student body vice president, will act as justice of the peace, Delores Mortensen, student secretary, secre-tary, will act as city recorder and Roy Orton will act as chief of police. Representatives on he student council from the lower three years of high school will act as councilmen and representatives' from the senior high school will - servers policemen. A schedule of fines for traffic violations, vandalism van-dalism and disturbing the peace has been drawn up by the students, stu-dents, with townspeople to be subje'ct to the same regulations during the time the school is in charge of city affairs, as the students. stu-dents.
