Show ; Chamber Members Meet In Regular Session A meeting of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce board of directors was held last Thursday Thurs-day evening with a discussion on the proposed Cedar Breaks road program one of the principal topics to-pics of discussion. The chamber board wil be represented rep-resented at the meeting on the proposed project to be held in Cedar Ce-dar City on Nov.-4 -with three Utah legislators'. In addition the board approved approv-ed the proposaj to have the chamber bookkeeping system switched from the general office to service offered by the Fakler-Seegmiiler Fakler-Seegmiiler Accounting Service and the IBM system of accounting account-ing with a monthly prepared balance bal-ance sheet to become available. A discussion was also held concerning con-cerning a note of $500 that the chamber signed with the old Battery Bat-tery F of the 222nd Field Artil-Jery Artil-Jery Regiment. Disposition of the note, which at this time is only partially paid, was tabded. How-ever How-ever an Investigation will be made before the note is stricken from the books, according to executive ex-ecutive secretary ' Whitney Jensen. Jen-sen. Other business matters were dlstussed and a report of the organizational or-ganizational meeting of Highway 91 Association, hosted by the chamber, was given by President Clarence Miller. |
