Show Xmas Trees Bought Burned by Cedar Motor Co. Cedar City residents wili have an opportunity to easily dispose of their Christmas trees during the coming week, and at the same time save $100 on an automobile auto-mobile purchase, as the result of a promoting program to be undertaken un-dertaken by the Cedar Motors company. Beginning Friday, Jan. 2, the motor company will present any individual who brings in a Christmas tree with a certificate certifi-cate worth $100 if properly used. Each certificate will be good for $100 until Jan. 10 on the purchase pur-chase of a new care or a postwar post-war used car at the Cedar Motor Garage. In other words the person per-son who brings in his Christmas tree may purchase either a new-Packard, new-Packard, Kaiser or Henry J. automobile, au-tomobile, or any post-ward used car on the company's used car lot, at $100 less than the list price for the automobile selected. The program does more than offer a saving to car buyers. It makes it easy to dispose of that old Christmas tree, alsvays a problem since the garbage collectors col-lectors will not haul off such items. The company plans to stage a bonfire on Jan. 10 at which time all the trees collect vj will be burned. Read the company's advertisement advertise-ment in this issue of the Iron County Record to learn details of the program. |
