Show ENOCH AND MID VALLEY ; NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Frank Armstrong J of Brigham City are visiting here and in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Jones and family of Denver are spending a week visiting relatives and friends in Enoch, Cedar City and Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mathe-son Mathe-son and family of Layton, Utah, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Owen Matheson of Enoch and Mrs. Charles Maxwell of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Hatch were visitors at the home of Mrs. Hatch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw during the holidays. David Anderson of Enoch and Douglas Maxwell of Cedar City left Saturday for Fort Ord, Calif, for Dean Maxwell, who has a 10-day 10-day leave after which he will report re-port at New Brunswick, N. J. Mr. and Mrs. Royce Chamberlain Chamber-lain of Orderville spent Christmas Christ-mas with the Hunter Gibson family fam-ily here. Mrs. Ruth Chamberlain was a visitor at the home of her daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Stanford Jones and Mrs. Ivor Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Anderson and family of Bountiful spent a few days in Enoch visiting with the Murie and Anderson families. Monday night the M-Men and Gleaners of the Enoch ward sponsored a dance in .the recreation recrea-tion hall to which the Mutual members were invited. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. A special feature of the evening was the presentation of watches won at the State Fair by Mavis and Janice Ja-nice Jones. County Agent Stephen Steph-en Brower made the presentation. The Lambda Delta Sigma, sorority so-rority was entertained with a turkey dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw on New Year's Eve, after which the members attended the dance at the church. I Millard Halterman came home Tuesday after spending a week in the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Halterman spent the last few days in Salt Lake City with him. |
