Show Lunt and Christensen j Married in j Temple Ceremony A double ring ceremony performed per-formed in the St. George Temple Saturday, Dec. 27, united Jean-nine Jean-nine Lunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lanell N, Lunt, and Hondo A. Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Christensen of Delta, in Wedlock. Pres. Halord S. Snow of the temple performed the ceremony before the immediate families of the young couple who attended the temple excursion. Following the weddmg a reception re-ception was held in the Second ward chapel honoring the newly weds. The hall was decorated with a Christmas theme. A dance was held in connection with the reception. Assisting in the arrangement for the reception and dance were Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell, aunt of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Lunt, who handled the arrangements for the affair. Barbara Lunt, sister of the bride, assisted as maid of honor, while Max Christensen, brother of the groom, handled the duties of best man. Bridesmaids for the occasion were the Misses Mari-don Mari-don Smith, Betsy Lunt and Jo-Anne Jo-Anne Lunt. All of the bridesmaids brides-maids were dressed in Hollyberry red dresses and carried white flower fans. Vickie Adamson was the flower girl for the new Mrs. Christensen. Previous to the wedding ceremony cere-mony Saturday Miss Lunt was honored by friends and family groups. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson M. Lunt held a family party in honor hon-or of the couple. The Misses Maridon Smith and Velma Williams Wil-liams held a personal shower for the bride-elect, vhile Mr. and Mrs. Will Jones held a buffet supper for the young couple. Mrs. Arnold Gilbert and Mrs, Floyd Munson also held a break-, fast for Miss Lunt as the Stanley Bradshaw residence early in the week. The bride, a graduate of the Branch Agricultural college in elementary education, has been teaching for the past year in the Cedar elementary school system. sys-tem. Mr. Christensen is at present completing his studies at the B A C. He has filled an L D S mission to the Central Atlanic mission field. Following the reception the Christensen left for a honeymoon trip to California. Upon teir return re-turn they will make their home in Cedar City until Mr. Christensen Christen-sen completes his studies at the B A C. |
