Show I Former Resident Dies At Washington, D. C. The death of Mrs. Cynthia Roberts Rob-erts Palmer, 71. widow of the late Edward J. Palmer of Cedar City, is reported. Mrs. Palmer died in Washington, D. C. on Dec. 9, and was buried in Wyoming Wyo-ming late that week. Mrs. Palmer died at the home of her son, Verl Roberts, in Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. where she had been living for about three months. Funeral service were conducted in Washington, after which the body was taken to Afton. Wyo. for burial. Mrs. Palmer came to Cedar City in the 1930s from Idaho, and established a small business In April, 1936 she married Mr. Palmer, and a short time later discontinued her business venture. ven-ture. Following his death in 1942, she continued to make her home here until about three years ago, when she moved to California, where she resided until joining her son in Washington late in the summer. She had spent most of her life in Idaho and Wyoming prior to coming to Cedar City to enter business. In addition to her son, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Erna) Nibley of New York, and also by three brothers j and one sister. |
