Show Change Necessitated In January Selective Service Call It has been necessary to make a change in one of ihe youn men of Iron county called to import im-port for preinduction physic.il examinations during Januarv.j This came as the result of o.no of the men already being in military service. ; W,lliam Edwin Anderson of Paragonah was ordered to re-1 port for a pre-induction physic ll examination on Jan. 14. How-1 ever he had volunteered for! service in November and is now serving With the armed force;. The Selective Service board had not been advised of Anderson's acceptance into the services, and therefore he was still listed n the county records as available for induction. The board was notified of Anderson's An-derson's status Monday, and in.-mediafe'y in.-mediafe'y a substitute to answer the January call was selected. ! Ferry Blackburn of Cedar City his been ordered to report for ex-lamination ex-lamination on that date. Reporting with Blackburn will be Nils Golden Bayles of Paro wan, and Ken William Esplin of Kanarraville. Two Iron county men will report re-port for induction on Jan. 12, the clerk of .the local selective service ser-vice board reports. The two men ordered to report are Gerald Cluff and Garth S. Hall, both of Cedar City. |
