Show Beta Sigma Phi Ladies Begin Activities The Beta Sigma Phi, local social sorority, has been active during the past few weeks after having signed up five new pledgees. On October 21st, the sorority pledged Mrs. Beverley Elliott, Mrs. Plxle Lamb, Mrs. P. Urie, Miss Lois Urle, and Mrs. Margaret Warner. The pledge ceremony was held at the home of the sorority president, Miss Marjorie Marsden, at whlrii time a formal luncheon was served by the active members. On November 20th Mrs. Shirley Marchant was the guest, presenting a book review of "The Lantern hi Her Hand.'.' The December 4th. meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Leta Cowley, and an Interesting Interest-ing lesson, "Conduct of Love," was given by Mrs. Fae Dlx. President Marsden conducted a short business session, after which the members gathered about the piano to sing to the accompaniment of Ruth Corry4and Mary Jane Seaman. Light refreshments were served. |
