Show Elks Club To Stage Boxing Program For "March Of Dimes" The Elks lodge will stage a boxing box-ing program Saturday night, December De-cember 13, with all funds to be contributed to the March of Dimes campaign fund, announces Leonard Leon-ard Qnlth, chairman of the Elks Boxing committee. - The bouts will be staged in the Armory, with Kent Hoyt, populai Cedar City battler, meeting the toughest opponent he has ever faced in the main event. Hoyt will tangle with Sunny Kelly of Portland, Port-land, Oregon, who made such a good impression with local fants last fall when he met Charlie Woodbury in an Elks sponsored bout. This bout will go for six rounds or less. The seml-windup will find Cornell Olds, who has made a good showing show-ing in several recent bouts, taking a step into faster company by tack, ling the popular Warren Bushhead. This bout will also be for six rounds, and together with the main event, should give the fans an exciting evening. The remainder of the program will be made up. of four-round bouts with B. A. C. and local bat.-tlers bat.-tlers pairing off according to the various weights. |
