Show Committee On Adult Education Plans For Series Of Classes The Community Adult Education committee Is busy with initial plans for opening its regular series of adult classes early In January, according ac-cording to Mrs. Mildred Sargent, secretary, who, with Mrs. Fae Dlx, coordinator has spent this week tabulating tab-ulating results from the question-aire question-aire distributed at the various Parent-Teacher meetings during the post month. P. T. A. officers have been in charge of distribution. According to Mrs. Sargent, keen Interest is being shown In a number num-ber of classes and It Is quite likely that enrollment will equal or exceed last year's record. At least two-thirds of those responding re-sponding to the check list have indicated in-dicated an Interest in having discussions dis-cussions on "Meeting the Sex Education Edu-cation Needs of Children." The committee announces that this course will be conducted sometime in February or March by the Family Fam-ily Life Consultant for the State Department De-partment of Education, Miss Wln-nifred Wln-nifred Hazen. It will be held as a two-day clinic and at least 25 people peo-ple must register for the course. Presen1. As in other years there is much interest being shown in sewing and cooking classes, Interior decorating, elementary typing, fix-it classes and many others dealing with home problems. If ten or more people sign for any given class, qualified teachers will be secured. A number of people have asked for a class in "Current Affairs" this year, and It is expected that such a course will be set up under leadership of W. Kirk Daly. The committee wishes to reem-phaslze reem-phaslze that all classes are open to the public, that they will run from ten to twelve weeks beginning January Jan-uary 7, and that they will remain open only If ten or more people attend at-tend regularly.
