B. P. W. Club Holds Meeting Wednesday Evening The Cedar City Business and Prof-feslonal Prof-feslonal Women's Club held their regular meeting Wednesday evening even-ing at Thornton's Coffee Shop with the finance committee, consisting of Mrs. Eula Rollins, chairman, Miss Carrie Leigh, Miss Zelma Leigh and Miss LaVerne Jones, in charge of the program. Miss Jones conducted the meeting. meet-ing. The theme of the program, "Balancing the Budget", was carried car-ried out in the place cards which consisted of cardboard scales on which was hung a tiny booklet containing con-taining the tentative budget, balanced bal-anced on the other side by the estimated esti-mated income for the coming year. Miss Carrie Leigh read the budget, bud-get, after which Mrs. Ellen Dawson reviewed the book "Orchids". Following Fol-lowing the program, a discussion of the coming state and national conventions were discussed. The next meeting of the club will be held Wednesday evening, April 30th., at Mary's Tea Room at which time Elmer Quist will give a talk on the state and city beautiflcation program. The annual election of officers will also be held at the April 30th. meeting, lt was announced.
