Show Former B. A. C. Instructor Awarded Ph. D. From Stanford King Hendricks, assistant professor profes-sor of English at the Utah State Agricultural College and former Instructor In-structor in English and Social Science at the Branch Agricultural College has been awarded a degree of doctor of philosophy by the officials of-ficials of Stanford University at Palo Alto, California, according tc a recent announcement. Dr. Hendricks, who was a member mem-ber of the faculty of the local school from 1925 to 1935, completed work on his doctorate during the 1939-40 academic year, while on leave of absence from the U. S. A. C. He majored in philology and mlnored in German. He received his bachelor of science degree from U. S. A. C. in 1923, and his M. S. degree from Stanford University in 1926. In 1929-30 he studied at the University of Berlin in Germany. He is a member of Tau Kappa Alpha, national honorary honor-ary debating society, and Pi Delta Epsilon, national honorary Journalistic Journal-istic fraternity. |
