Show B. A. C. Students Attend Festival Of Home Ec Ass'n Twenty-five students of the Home Economics department of the Branch Agricultural College will leave tomorrow morning for Salt Lake City to attend the annual festival sponsored by the Home Economics association of Utah which Vill be held in that city on Saturday. They will be accompanied accompani-ed by Miss Frances E. Knott and Mrs. Grace Hawkes, Instructors. Representatives of more than 2,000 home economics students in Utah schools will gather at the festival fes-tival which will open with a general gen-eral meeting Saturday at 10 a. m. in the Assembly hall on Temple Square. Represented will be home economics clubs In colleges, high schools and junior high schools throughout the state. Speakers at the general meeting will include Tracy R. Welling, secretary se-cretary td Governor Herbert B. Maw; Miss Dean Oleson, Brlgham Young university student, who Is president of the college division of the Utah Student Home Economics Club associations; Miss Dentzeil White of Box Elder high school, president of the high school division; Miss Rayola Hanseen of Dixon junior high school, secretary of the student' association; and Miss Margaret Mar-garet Potter of Lehl high school, state home economics club leader. Greetings will be extended at the opening session by Miss Vera Little-field Little-field of Weber high school at Ogden, president of the Home Economics Association of Utah, with which the various student clubs are affiliated. af-filiated. A musical program will be furnished by the Carbon college at Price. From 11 a. m. until noon, the college, high school and Junior high school groups will meet separately. Featured sneaker at the collars clubs' meeting will be Miss Effie Warnlck. dean of home economics at the BYU, while Mrs. Hyrum B. Summerhaya. fashion stylist for ZCMI, will address the high school division and Mrs. Lloyd Culllmore of Provo will speak at the Junior high school meeting. A fashion show, directed by Miss Frances E. Knott, head of the home economics department of the B. A. C, in which entries from each club will participate, will feature a noon luncheon session at the Hotel Utah. Olrls from the local school who will model in the fashion show include Karrol Halght, Glenn is Slmklns, and Lucy Hess. Winona Hunter wUl act as commentator. At this session announcement will be made of election elec-tion results for state club leader, association president, and officers of the college, high school and Junior Jun-ior high school organizations. Olrls attending the festival from the B. A.
