Show Gidney-Phelps .7 ;.:. . I ft i 1 I Krista Maria Gidney and Mark S. Phelps exchanged wedding vows this morning, Aug. 17 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A wedding breakfast was given by Wayne and Zoe Phelps, the groom's grandparents. A reception will be held at the Orchard First Ward building. The bride is the daughter of John E. and Terry Lynne Gidney of 3877 S. 725 W., Bountiful. Parents of the groom are Eileen Stonely Phelps of Provo and Wayne Irwin Phelps, Mesa, Ariz. The bride is wearing her grandmother grand-mother Chabot's satin dress with a French lace veil and train. Her nosegay and veil piece have old fashioned flowers in white with pink rosebuds. Serving the bride as maid of honor hon-or is Raquel Briem. She wore a pastel pas-tel dress of lavender and pink with matching flowers. The mothers also wore lavender and pink dresses with matching flowers. Kent Phelps is performing best man duties. Ushers are Tom Jones and Paul Jones. Showers were given by the bride's aunts, Brenda Chabot and Donna Stocks. The bride is attending Brigham Young University majoring in theater and secondary education. MR. AND MRS. MARK S. PHELPS The groom has attended Mesa Community College and is now attending Brigham Young University Univer-sity majoring in computer science. He filled an LDS Sacramento, Calif, mission. After a honeymoon to the Grand Canyon and Alpine, Ariz., they will make their home in Provo. |
