John B. Weigel John B . Weigel, 7 1 , passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 1988 at LDS Hospital following heart surgery. He was born in North Dakota April 22, 1917. He married Orabell Lyman at Escalante May 10, 1938. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They recently celebrated their golden gol-den wedding anniversary. They served as workers in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A retired appraiser for the state of Utah , Mr. Weigel was honored as "Utah Employee Em-ployee of the Year." He was a High Priest in the Bountiful LDS 18th Ward. He was known for his unselfishness, his sincerity, and his concern for others. Mr. Weigel is survived by his wife, Orabell; his children, Mary Kay Tanner, San Diego, Calif.; John L. Weigel, St. Louis, Mo.; and Julie Reed, Tucson, Ariz. ; five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. He was the oldest of his surviving six brothers and four sisters.
