Show Sally M. Wight . ?':, ' ' . ., ; g. W (v Sally Mortensen Wight, 24, passed pas-sed away Monday, Aug. 8, 1988. She was born Aug. 2, 1964 in Murray, a daughter of Marvin J. and Betty Ida Lubbers Mortensen. She married DeOrr Lyman Wight Dec. 14, 1983 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had been a secretary in the trust department in Zions National Bank. She was reared and educated edu-cated in Bountiful, lived in Murray, Sandy and lived in Farmington for the past year. She graduated from Woods Cross High School and LDS Seminary. Semi-nary. She attended BYU. She was a member of the Farmington 18th LDS Ward. She had been a teacher in the Young Women's organization organiza-tion and a Primary music director. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Surviving are her husband of Farmington; one son and one daughter, Isaac Lyman Wight and Sarah Jane Wight, both of Farmington; Farm-ington; her parents of Salt Lake City; one brother and five sisters, Marvin J. Mortensen, Jr., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Randy (Beverly) Pridgen and Mrs. Dee (Gail) Wine-gar, Wine-gar, both of Bountiful; Mrs. Scott (Judith) Haslam, West Valley City; Mrs. Brad (Ruth) Randall, Center-ville; Center-ville; Mrs. Lynn (Jane) Woodland, Idaho Falls, Ida. Funeral services were held Aug. 12 with Bishop Karl J. West officiating. offi-ciating. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Lind-quist's Bountiful Mortuary. Family prayer was offered by Marvin J. Mortensen; prelude, Ann Alley; "A Family is Forever" by Sally's Merri Miss girls; "If I'm SALLY MORTENSEN WIGHT Worthy" by Gwen Vallace, Evelyn Drew, Jennifer Feigleson, accompanied by Carolyn Saunders; Saun-ders; invocation, DeOrr N. Wight; remarks, Bishop Karl J. West; speaker, J. Richard Connelly; "The Test" by Emily Whitesides; speaker, John L. Harmer; "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" by Gwen Vallace, Evelyn Drew, and Jennifer Feigleson, accompanied accompa-nied by Carolyn Saunders; benediction, be-nediction, Eugene Earl Anderson. Dedication of the grave was by DeOrr L. Wight with interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott Haslam, Marvin Mortensen Jr., Randy Pridgen, Brad Randall, Lawrence Wight, Dee Winegar and Lynn Woodland. |
