Show BHS concert season off to great star! to participate in the Six Flags Festival Fes-tival this year. Mr. Hunt and the band members have been working hard preparing for their trip. Not only have they rehearsed diligently for the competition at the festival but they have put in many hours working to earn their way for the trip. Many students have participated in the numerous money making projects provided by the Band Boosters. A sincere "thank you" is extended to all who contributed in any way to help the students in this effort. Dates of their upcoming performances per-formances are April 27 with the regional re-gional festival at Highland High School and April 30 for the University Univer-sity of Utah Festival in the Union building. Friends of the band are invited to attend these performances. The Bountiful High Band Concert Con-cert season is starting off with the high scoring performance that has come to be expected of them. This year's participation on April 9 in the state solo and ensemble ensem-ble at BYU featured 11 groups from the Bountiful High Band. Of these 11 groups, ten groups received re-ceived l's, the highest score given. Those participating as soloists or in the groups are: Tiffany Allen, Janinc Merrill, Andrea Worthing- ton, Tyler Knowlton, Britney Stansfield, Bryan Bohling, Larissa LeVitre, Ted Knowlton, Anthony Kirkham, Brad Billings, Joe Kempe, Eric Oldroyd, Mike Page, Darron Thiriot and MaryAnn Allgood. April 12 the Bountiful High band traveled to Logan to the USU Festival Fes-tival and enjoyed a good performance. perform-ance. Their band tour, April 20-25, takes them to Southern California |
