Show Carol M. Finlinson LAYTON Carrol Maxine Wheeler Finlinson, 56, of 70 Aircraft Air-craft Ave., died Wednesday, April 6, 1988 at Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton following a stroke. She was born Sept. 11, 1931 in Piano, Ida., a daughter of James Alvin and Edna Perrenoud Wheeler. She married Welby Dale Finlinson Finlin-son Sept. 11, 1951 in North Salt Lake. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served as a visiting teacher. Surviving are her husband of Layton; three sons and two daughters, daugh-ters, Brent Welby Finlinson, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Ida.; Max Dale Finlinson, Layton; Jaylyn Finlinson, Ogden; Mrs. Carl (Luann Carrol) Kingsford, La.; Mrs. Alan (Deanna Gay) Rhodes, Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters, Joseph Neal Wheeler, Salt Lake City; Clifford A. Wheeler, Grand Junction, Col-o. Col-o. ; Erma Violet Welden and Peggy Joyce Hendon, both of Beaver; lone Williams, Norco, Calif. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Layton Mortuary. Bishop Robert Winegar officiated offici-ated at funeral services held April 9. Family prayer was offered by Brent W. Finlinson; prelude, VeAnn Molander; musical selec tion, Verdine Rawlinson; invocation, invoca-tion, Max D. Finlinson; remarks, Bishop Robert Winegar; speaker, Charles Price; "As I Have Loved You" by Pat Burton, LeeAnn Hawker and Tamalee Draper; benediction, be-nediction, Golden Voss. Dedication of the grave was by Arlyn Finlinson with interment in the Meadow Cemetery. Pallbearers were Welby Dale Finlinson, Arlyn Finlinson, Brent Finlinson, Max Finlinson, Jaylyn Finlinson and Alan Rhodes. |
