Show Layton spring cleanup scheduled for April 25 LAYTON The Layton City Chamber of Commerce in cooperation coopera-tion with the Layton City Public Works Department is sponsoring a city-wide clean up starting April 25 and continuing through April 30. During that week, Roche and Sons, the refuse haulers for Layton City residents, have agreed to pickup pick-up 15 containers per household and they will also pick up limbs and trimmings that are bundled and tied securely. Limb bundles must be no longer than 30 inches and they can't weigh over 50 pounds On Saturday, April 30, troops of Boy Scouts will be cleaning up the major streets through Layton. Citj trucks will be assisting them Clean-up director, Harris Adams noted many local merchants hav donated plastic garbage bags foi this project. Residents can haul their yard de bris to the burn plant during regulai operating hours. Anyone not hav ing the required "dump" card car obtain one at the Layton Citj offices. Chamber president, Dennis De Frain, encourages all citizens tc support the clean up drive anc make Layton a more attractive place. |
