Show Viewmont Viking Views the average person along the Wasatch Front can watch a great game of soccer without travelling all the way to Brazil. In fact, they beat Davis High last Friday, which warmed the hearts of all true red and gold Vikings. Games are: East at VHS, 7:30 pm this Friday; VHS at Highland, 3:30 pm next Tuesday; and next Friday, April 29, is the biggie, big-gie, Woods Cross at Viewmont, 7:30 pm. Don't miss these games. If these sports don't satisfy you, check into what some affectionately refer to as "baseball, sport of real men." They won a friendly game of ball with the Darts last Friday. If you combine this with the victory of the soccer team, those Viking hearts are pretty close to bursting with joy. Future Fu-ture games are at East this Friday, 3:30, and next Tuesday at home against Highland, 3:30 pm as well. (If you think the soccer and baseball schedules exhibit some kind of relationship, rela-tionship, you're right.) Make your plans for the Viewmont dance company's concert, con-cert, "In Motion." That's going to be next week, so more details should be coming up. Lastly, Spring Formal or Junior Prom or whatever it is will be Saturday Satur-day night, so check it out It's probably proba-bly a little late to be asking, but I'm not sure. Thai's because final election bal lots will be cast tomorrow for next year's officers. Candidates for Secretary Sec-retary are Rulhanne Hansen and Kari Moon; Vice President: Mike Wer-sland Wer-sland and Troy Wood; and running for President are Cliff Hokanson and Shawn Johnson. Good luck to the candidates, and may the best person win! Thou shalt observe track and field at Viewmont on Wednesdays, for this is the day of the strong of leg and swift of foot. Today, the mighty feet of the Vikcs smite the wildcats that have strayed from the land of their fathers, yea, even the vast tracts nigh to the freeway Woods Cross. And lo, next week it shall come to pass that they shall wander far afield, even unto Davis High School, where the darts shall be stricken and sore afraid (verily!).
