Show Ben H. Bullock Reports Visit Of Eastern Men To Virgin Oil Field Ben H. Bullock of the Virgin Oil Fields returned recently from the east and reports prospects good for increased finance for continuing oil operations in the vicinity of Virgin. F. O. Taylor and Gordon C. Toot of Wilmington, Del., both interested interest-ed in mineral and oil developments of Utah, and financially interested in the oil operations in the vicnity of Washington county, and especially especi-ally in the Virgin oil fields, are here making an inspection of the field. Accompanied by Mr. Bullock, these two men have spent the last several days making a trip of investigation in-vestigation to both the mineral and oil claims and properties of Washington county and state they are highly pleased with the general prospects in both fields. Mr. Bullock explains that those ! interested in the local oil fields ! have been making the trips back and forth to the east and have often tried to persuade eastern 'capitalists, who had investments j here, to come out and view the . fields for themselves. This time they have succeeded and it is the ! hope that the visit of Mr. Taylor (and Mr. Toot will result in others ! coming out for like investigations. These two men, he states, visited all of the properties immediately in the Virgin oil field, taking back with them various samples, including in-cluding oil from the pump well north of Virgin. Leaving Virgin Sunday morning, the two men. with Mr. Bullock as guide, turned their attention to visiting the narks and scenic sections sec-tions of Utah. They were impressed impres-sed with the magnificance of Zion Park and went on Tuesday to Bryce and Cedar Brakes. They went on north on Wednesday. |
