Show i . Doctor Hansen, B.Y.U. Instructor To Give Course In Geology Milton E. Moody, county school superintendent, reports recent information in-formation brought by advance students returning from the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university that Dr. George Hansen of that institution will come to St. George about September 1 to give an intensive course in geology under the University Uni-versity Extension division. This course will allow for six hours of college credit in the upper division and will no doubt appeal to both advanced college students and teachers who are interested in increasing their educational credits. Doctor Hansen has long been interested in coming here for this purpose feeling that this section offers unusual opportunity for this work, and is anxious to come this fall providing enough will sign up to form a class. The charge per college hour of credit will be not to exceed $2.50, which makes the entire six hours cost only $15.00. Superintendent Moody suggests that this is an unusual opportunity and should be readily taken advantage ad-vantage of by many school people, students and teachers, as well as by others in the community. Those interested should advise the superintendent, super-intendent, who will make necessary neces-sary arrangements. Superintendent Moody calls attention at-tention to the fact that when the teacher contracts were sent out the date set for school opening was September 6. But to conform to that of the Dixie TTormal college col-lege and meet other exigencies, it (Continued on page four) Geology Course (Continued from first page) has been decided to postpone the opening date to September 12.
