Show Hurricane F.F.A. Boys' Work Pleases Educators Milton E. Moody, county school superintendent, and Pres. Glenn E. Snow of the Dixie junior college spent Tuesday forenoon visiting the several agricultural projects of the F.F.A. boys of Hurricane. Superintendent Moody states they are elated wdth the work being done by these young boys, but find in Hurricane, as elsewhere, the plots being farmed or gardened by the boys are, in most cases, too small for them to reach the actual accomplishments of which they are capable. These Hurricane projects are under the direction of Elmer Graff, instructor in that department at the Hurricane high school. Several of the boys under his charge are specializing at this time in raising hogs, says Superintendent Moody. In this interest they have imported import-ed several high class breeding stock hogs and the two school officials visited several pens where litters of young porkers show promise of top grade market stock for the near future. The plan is to schedule the breeding so they will have top notchers for shipping to California markets when the September demand features fea-tures best prices.
