EMT at the scene of a near drowning loads a 10-month girl into ambulance to be transported to the Ashley Valley Medical Center. 1 0-month-old nearly drowns in bucket A 10-month old girl is in critical but stable condition in Ashley Valley-Medical Valley-Medical Center after nearly drowning in a 5-gallon bucket near her home, Tuesday. The Uintah County Sheriff's Department Depart-ment reported that Chelsea Hall, daughter of Evan and Velda Hall, fell head first into a 5-gallon, white plastic bucket that was near her Maeser home. The girl was in the bucket two to three minutes before her mother pulled pull-ed her out and cleared her breathing passage. When the Uintah County Ambulance arrived at the scene, the child was in the front yard breathing irratically and she was cold, said Deputy Victor Polek, Uintah County Sheriff Department. Polek and Deputy Lee England investigated in-vestigated the scene of the incident and determined that the child had been on the porch of the house and accidentally ac-cidentally fell into the bucket. The bucket was half full of water and had been sitting for several days. The girl was immediately transported to the Ashley Valley Medical Center. The incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. |
