Show Historical Society to attend library program . At the invitation of Uintah .County Librarian. Doris Burton, the Uintah Historical Society will meet Friday evening. July 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Uintah County Library Multi-purpose room. There will be a 30 minute official meeting then the group will attend "A Country School Legacy - Humanities on the Frontier," a program on the one room schoolhouse. Scott Berkinshaw, a university scholar, will provide the exhibit and film and will be the speaker for the evening. A panel discussion will be given by several persons who have attended or taught in one room school houses. Several local people will participate including Mrs. Esther Campbell and Florence Williams, members of the local Historical Society. Following the program, Mrs. Burton will conduct a tour of the Regional Room in the Library, a room where local historical documents, diaries, pictures and manuscripts can be deposited by people of the community for historical preservation.
