Show Police blotter Two thefts, a burglary and three drunken driving reports were released by Sgt. Robert Downard, Vernal City police. On Feb. 16 Anderson Jewelry, 18 W. Main, reported two wedding bands taken by two juveniles ages 10 and 15. The value of the rings was $807. During a private party at the Vernal Mine Co. Bill Martin Jr., 33, reported his camera was stolen. No suspect has been found. A burglary occured Feb. 9 at the Micheal Wilkerson residence, 650 W. 100 South. A $600 stereo was reported taken. A traffic stop, Feb. 16, resulted in the arrest of Linda Nelson, 24, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Others charged with drunk driving are Barl Murrell and James D. Bonms. Also Ashton's Hardware reported two windows shot out and Raymond A. Williams 18 was charged with altering his driver's license. In vehicle accidents, officer Chuck Hill released information about two hit and runs involving parked cars reported Feb. 11 and Feb. 15. Also an accident resulting in $300 damages occured Feb. 18.
